
Amanda Louise Holden, born 16 February 1971 is an English media personality and actress. She has served as an adjudicator in Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent competition since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on every weekday morning. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her growing up in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she was a member of the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden has also appeared on TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. Holden was also part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" featuring Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. She co-starred with Bill Nighy and Tom Courtenay in Ready When You Are, Mr. McGill, a comedy drama written by Jack Rosenthal. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she joined the show.
