Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer best recognized for her roles played as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer and American actor who is active in theater in film, television, and theatre. Her career began with theater, and was later featured in a number of TV shows and independent as well as mainstream movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. She began her career acting in 1995 when she played Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. She has performed as a character on Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film work is highlighted by her roles on Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. On television her regular role in the ABC's crime drama series High Incident has earned her high praise.
